Welcome to the online home of Jack R. Martin, Esq. I have been a member of the New Jersey Bar since 1976. I can determine if an expungement of your criminal record is possible and if expungement is possible, I can petition the Court and request that those records be expunged.
I worked in the Atlantic County Prosecutors Office for over 45 years. I have tried numerous juvenile and domestic violence cases as well as reviewed over 3000 expungements, including the landmark expungement cases of In Re Ross, and State v. Ochoa, which resulted in published opinions favorable to my position. I have also prosecuted numerous criminal appeals and prosecuted numerous gun licensing cases. Prior to working in the Prosecutors Office, I served as a military attorney doing criminal defense work as a Judge Advocate for the Marine Corps at Parris Island, SC.
From my Marine Corps training and experience, I’ve learned the value of discipline and hard work, both in the courtroom and in my life. I always find time for exercise each day, and I am a very skilled swimmer. I swam competitively all throughout my college career, and won the 800 Meter Freestyle in the Pan American Masters Championships.
